A direction can have been worth considering even if you do not carry it forward. You may want another hour, a pause, or simply to leave the experiment in your notes. Each is a choice about this version, for now.
The end of the collection does not require a new plan. You can choose what happens to one interest without deciding how the rest of your life should look or explaining the choice publicly.
One question
Would I like to keep, pause, or leave this direction for now?
One small practice
Choose one direction you considered and write one of these words beside it: keep, pause, or leave. Add a short reason connected with your present preference or the room you have.
Complete: "For now, my choice about this direction is ____." No announcement or new commitment is required. You can stop here, and you can change the choice later.
Use paper or a private note. Nothing needs to be submitted.
Your note stays in this browser.

Questions people ask
Does keeping a direction mean scheduling another hour?
It can mean leaving the interest available without arranging anything now. If you want another hour, you can consider it separately. The word keep records your current preference; it does not automatically create a repeating appointment or another responsibility.
What if I cannot choose among keep, pause, and leave?
You can write that the choice is still open. The words are offered to describe a preference, not force one. Leave the note as it is or return when you have something more concrete to say about this direction.
