A little room for a strength of your own

Try a smaller, chosen version of something you can do.

Week 2B · The Talents collection

This week's practice is not to do more for everyone. It is to notice whether an ability has a version you would enjoy choosing for yourself.

One question

What is a small way I could use an ability for my own interest?

One small practice

Choose one ability and give it a modest setting: arrange one corner for your own pleasure, write a paragraph no one needs to read, or explain an idea in your private notes.

Make the version small enough that you can stop after a few minutes.

Notice whether you would like to return to it. You are allowed to decide that this is not the ability you want to explore right now.

Use paper or a private note. Nothing needs to be submitted.

Give this practice a place in your week.

Talents is one theme in YOUR YEAR. You can keep exploring for free. If a regular rhythm would help, Member connects the shared theme with Notice → Understand → Try → Reflect and your Personal Map.

Questions people ask

How do I know what my talents are if nothing feels special?

Begin with one ordinary action: something you noticed, explained, arranged, made, or listened to. You do not have to decide whether it is exceptional to describe what you did.

What if I'm good at something but don't enjoy it?

An ability and a preference can be different. You can recognize what you bring without promising to use it more often or making it another responsibility.
