Keep a clearer description of care

Carry a specific preference from the Love theme without writing a rule for others.

Week 4B · 8 of 8 · 2 min read

At the end of these reflections, you can keep a clearer description of care you would welcome. Perhaps you named attention, company, practical help, or space. Perhaps the useful observation was that your preference depends on the setting.

You do not need to turn the note into a rule for another person. A private description can be enough to carry forward, without a conversation, a promise, or a conclusion about any relationship.

One question

What have I noticed about the care I would welcome?

One small practice

Read a note from this theme, or use an ordinary preference you can name today. Write a concrete observation about the form of care and the setting where you would welcome it.

Complete: "Something I want to remember about care is ____." You can stop with the sentence. No disclosure, relationship decision, or promise to use the observation is required.

Use paper or a private note. Nothing needs to be submitted.

Questions people ask

Can I finish with a preference that remains private?

Yes. Privacy is part of the practice throughout this collection. You can keep a description of what you would welcome without asking anyone else to act on it. The final sentence does not need an audience or a reply.

What if I noticed that the examples do not fit me?

You can record that observation and use your own words, or leave the preference open. The examples offer possible forms of care without assigning one to you. No particular answer is needed to finish the collection.
